September 13, 2005 / YMCA - Pools games night turned into a brief meeting with a two part social gathering ending at the "Office"

    August 13, 2005 / Goldwater Lake Cleanup / D.D.S.C. Picnic / Great Fun
       Highlights:
Prior to picnic and scheduled events Mike E. taught a Rescue Diver Class, congratulations to those successful graduates.
Thermocline ! Yes, big time.  Bruce's temperature investigation with a dropped thermometer off of the end of the pier at fifteen feet showing 72 deg. did not cross the thermocline which also started at 15'  The lower water temperature was a refreshing 61 deg.,  Visibility: 5 feet, cloudy at the thermocline, improved below.
Underwater the explored portion of the lake was suprising clean. The cleanup netted one partial bag of amusing litter.
Crawdad city ! Crawdad population far exceeded one's imagination.  Maybe next years picnic should be a Cajun theme after an underwater harvest.
